to a gestational carrier. While some try to keep it a secret, others don’t have
a problem discussing it and thanking their surrogate publicly.

Nicole Kidman

After getting married in 2006, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban
welcomed a baby daughter two years later. The actress carried Sunday Rose to
term, but had trouble getting pregnant for a second time.

I’m so grateful to her”, Kidman explained about the gestational surrogate who
helped deliver Faith Margaret in 2010.

Ellen Pompeo

used a surrogate after delivering her first to term herself. Ellen Pompeo and
her husband Chris Ivory welcomed their first daughter Stella Luna in 2009, then
5 years later had a second daughter, Sienna May. Her birth and the surrogacy
were only announced two months after the delivery.

process twice, but Elizabeth Banks and her husband Max Handelman welcomed two
sons, Felix and Magnus Mitchell, 18 months apart. Both boys were carried to
term by a gestational surrogate. “It’s a big leap, inviting this person into
your life to do this amazing, important thing for you. But our surrogate is so
extraordinary, and she’s still in our lives. She’s like an auntie,” Banks told
US magazine.

The “American Horror Story” star only chose surrogacy after
seven years of failed fertility treatments. Angela Bassett and Courtney B.
Vance welcomed their twin babies in 2006, son Slater Josiah and daughter
Bronwyn Golden.

After two marriages and a son and a daughter she carried to
term, the “Sons of Anarchy” star decided to become a mother again after she

gestational carrier.

Neil Patrick Harris

Five years before he hosted the 87th Academy Awards, Neil
Patrick Harris and his husband David Burtka also joined the list of celebrities
who used a surrogate. After using eggs from an anonymous donor and a different
gestational carrier, they welcomed twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace.

a single parent. Ricky Martin became a father to twin boys Matteo and Valentino
in 2008, and two year later, professional soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo
announced that he’s a father with full custody, and hasn’t disclosed the
identity of his son’s birthmother.

surrogate. Camille used a gestational carrier for both her children, daughter
Mason Olivia and son Jude Gordon. “If you can’t get pregnant for whatever
reason, it’s great to know that there are options available for people that
want to have a family,” Grammer wrote on her Bravo blog.
